Support Us

The Ngogo chimpanzees have been featured in several wildlife documentaries, including Netflix’s Chimp Empire series (2023), the award-winning Rise of the Warrior Apes (2017), and Disney’s Chimpanzee (2012).
You can support us and help protect the Ngogo chimpanzees and other animals throughout Kibale in a few ways:
**You can buy official Ngogo Chimpanzee Project gear through our Bonfire store!
*100% of all proceeds raised go towards funding our anti-poaching program.
**You can donate through our yellow Paypal DONATE link!
*Your donation of $25 will pay one day’s salary for an anti-poaching patroller, which directly protects chimpanzees and other animals in Kibale National Park by reducing illegal hunting.
*Your donation of $100 will pay one day’s salary for our chimpanzee researchers. Every day of the year we have four chimpanzee researchers who collect data on the behavior and health status of the chimpanzees, and collect various types of samples (e.g., feces, to identify fathers of new infants!).
*Your donation of $1000 or more will get you exclusive naming rights for one of the 10 or so infant chimpanzees born at Ngogo each year. Please contact us at ngogochimps@gmail.com for details.
**And you can follow the chimps’ stories on Facebook and Instagram!
The Ngogo Chimpanzee Project Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. We will not sell, trade, or share a donor’s personal information with anyone else, or send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations and we will only acknowledge a donor for their contribution in a public forum once the donor has given us specific permission to do so.
